Our survival fundamentals course gives you an insight into what it takes to be a survivor. Under the guidance of expert instructors, we will teach you the core principles of survival. You will be taught how to signal for help, how to light fires without lighters or matches, how to collect water and how to build makeshift shelters. This course is designed so everyone can enjoy the experience and take home some valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a survivor. This is a course everyone should attend if venturing past the urban fringes and into wilderness areas, you will be much better prepared should something ever go wrong in one of these areas.
Based out of Wonga park only 45 minutes from Melbourne it is a perfect location for this single day survival course. Surrounded by native bushland and located next to the Yarra river this course is a brilliant way to escape city life and get back to basics.
You will be taught how to light fires in traditional ways such as friction fire lighting (Rubbing two sticks together to create an ember) You will create your very own kit which you can take home with you and practice until you have mastered this ancient skill. You will learn valuable skills under the guidance of professional survival instructors who will expertly demonstrate each skill set and explain in detail, this really is a great course if you have an interest in survival subjects or have ever seen a TV show and wondered how do they do that?

- You may bring your own knife but it must be a fixed blade and single edged and not a folding knife.
