Why not come along and find out for yourself! Come abseiling in a safe and controlled environment on natural rock with experienced guides. Abseiling is a fantastic way to face your fear of heights and experience the adrenaline rush of rappelling down a rope at the You Yangs regional park surrounded by stunning views!

Description

Experience the thrill of abseiling in the You yangs regional park, located only 45 minutes from Melbourne.

Abseiling is a great activity for the whole family, friends and individuals. It’s an experience like no other. It will heighten your senses as you descend the 30 metre rock face, whilst leaving you with a great sense of achievement.

It’s a great way to spend a few hours whilst learning some new skills along the way. By abseiling in a safe and controlled environment with experienced guides it’s a fantastic way to face your fear of heights and experience the thrill of abseiling.

Once we are all kitted up in harnesses and helmets we will have a talk about safety and demonstrate how to abseil correctly, after which it will be time to hit the rock for your first attempt at abseiling. Woo hoo!!!

Guided by your instructor you will be tied in securely via two ropes; your abseil line, which you will control and also a safety line, which is controlled by an instructor! Okay, now it’s time to stand on the edge. It’s all about mind over matter! If you gather the courage to travel down at speed, it’s a real adrenaline rush. You’ll be running back to the top for another go, and be getting faster each time.

You can enjoy as many abseils as you can fit into the session. In-between turns take in the breathtaking scenery of the You Yangs regional park and the surrounding areas.
